I actually think there's a chance that Harald can get linked to Kaido somehow. Other than their designs looking similar (that's usually just Oda's artstyle in most cases), I think the horns Kaido and Yamato had could indicate them being related to Giants.

You know what makes Kaido's character arc really sad, is that Oda has an amazing backstory and explanation for all his actions (Why he was obsessed with Joy Boy, his history with Rocks, etc...) and it will get revealed with Rock's flashback probably, but it would be too late because people already formed their opinion that he had an incomplete arc. So if we get Kaido lore in Loki flashback it would go a long way in saving his character as well as buffing Woki :kaimoji:

Kaido feels unfinished, like most of the beast pirates.
They got sacrificed for wano in general, I feel like prime Oda would never made it with over 100 chapters, a good editor and prime Oda would make Wano look amazing. We got the opposite...

No awakening+bad flashback is not what it was worth it for Kaido.
He deserved more, as a saga villian over 200 chapters...

Let hope he at least give Loki a proper flashback and good build up.
