Pretty self-explanatory Title.

What do you think OP's better feature is and what do people majorly look for in this manga?

I personally think that the answer to this question is pretty obvious but apparently, not everyone thinks the same. What do you guys think?

3rd option for me, the world building and lore for OP has been exceptional for me from early on, especially Skypeia, Water 7, Thriller Bark etc but the fights pre TS were AMAZING! Intense 1v1s that were brutal, energetic, powerful, emotional AF and so on. Nami vs Miss Doublefinger and Zoro vs Mr 1 are some of the rawest fights ever imo. Chopper vs Kumadori for the Monster Chopper moment ofc and Sanji vs Jyabura and Absalom for the Diable Jambe and mad style and even madder Sanji too. That "foreshadowing" of Hell's Memories when he was mad about Absalom and Nami too.

The fights are what really sold me in One Piece as well as the character interactions. I didn't see it mentioned in the poll but I really want to vouch for, to promote the character designs, humour, character interactions and just the personalities of the characters in OP too. Luffy vs Enel with Gomu Gomu no Baka mode and the Enel face moment are some of the funniest moments of OP for me too.
Oda has a wicked sense of humour in many ways and his sense of creativity and inspiration are IMMENSE!

I have loved the world building and lore to OP post TS so much and I felt fights were somewhat lacking post TS at least but now Wano/Onigashima is making up for it with Roof Piece at least! Luffy vs Katakuri and Luffy vs Doflamingo were some truly awesome fights though! The New World has really delivered on the hype world building wise and even pre TS we had such fantastical ideas by Oda too ofc!

Focusing on the question specifically though, I would say the lore and world building stand out for OP, they're almost paramount at least to it's sheer overwhelming success and love for the series by millions.
But Oda's characterisation for his characters are extremely unique, hilarious, memorable, in-depth, endearing and so on and I feel that adds exceeedingly to the success and love for OP too!

This is a trash poll. Of course World Building take a big point into fights too but people will never realize that.

OP is centered on power scalling not lore.

Always being and always will be like that.

Roger is top tier strength not top tier character design. So far he has nothing special but being strong.

oh I just realized i didn't answer the second half..

the lore is exquisite it is brings onepiece to life so.. in comparison to fights lore outweighs them.. but certain milestone fight are superb as well

but i like to think it from this way.. the lore of the crew progresses as the story goes on.. which was primarily the case in pretime skip but.. post Ts Is mostly universal lore centric and fight centric to but.. it carries a well pre-planned plot that entails lore and is an incentive to explore it more..
i mean oda has found a way to keep the lore consistent with the fights even atm.. which is great

It's lore who made me interested in One Piece, its geography mostly.
Back then, I didn't know a manga with a geography this vast and detailed like One Piece. I wanted to understand how this manga could build up a universe with so much elements in its story.

Then I ended up to care more for the Straw Hats, their dreams and their journeys to accomplish them ... but I've been really disappointed after post TS
:crybeard:

I still remember this intro before each episode : it had a real pirate vibe and it gave me so much hype for the upcoming events and the New World too ... which turns out to be a heavy dull sequel

Power scaling isn't necessarily the same matter as Fights. Fights can be spectacular even if there's an intrinsic broad power level inconsistency. I personally enjoy them the most but I have to admit the beauty of Water 7, Wano, Dressrosa, Zou... all these wondrous pano views... they are so eye warming.

The lore 100% Its the major reason I bother to read every week. Im just wanting to know about people's backstories, stuff from void century, or anything of Joyboy and ancient weapons and why everything is the way it is in One Piece. Oda hinting a lot during Wano but im just waiting for some big time reveal about the past.

The world building is really fun, it hooks me mostly when dealing with the Shichibukai early on or Skypeia.

But I wouldn't of gotten hooked without the conclusion to Arlong Park. The emotional build up and how great it felt for Arlong to get his shit kicked in is what made me give OP a good try.

Easily lore and world building.
OP does have good fights, but same goes for other mangas with better choreography and much shorter fights instead of 10~20 chapters, specially when the MC is not the only one to get drawbacks everytime.
