General & Others Lore/World Building or Fights, which one do you think is the manga's better feature?

It was the Lore and world-building for which I started watching, though now that aspect is not being looked into as much its still far better than fights/power scaling

Lore/World building is Oda's best strength as a writer and what made the manga special. The actual fights of one piece are average with a few exceptions, it's the emotional investment that Oda sets up for the fights that make them special. As a reader you want to see Arlong, Croc, Enel, Lucci get decked.

I don't think I'm the only one but before I joined OP manga fandom in general, I was a anime watcher at that time, I love the adventure story and the themes of fantasy structure. Theories was also very big. But the more I dive into manga section, the more power scaling related stuff happens and it lower my expectation when it comes to One Piece.

i remember in reverie n im sama views made a lot of prediction n assumption in reddit n discussion
void century n mariejoie still have to be explained ... zhunisha ,3 ancient weapons etc
the fight is good but lore/world building still better in oda writing
