Powers & Abilities Luffy’s gear fifth?

This is what i think would happen in the battlefield.
Law might seperate kaido from big mom.

after a littlebit of argument because of exausted luffy’s haki, the gang entrusted kidd to by some time for luffy to regain his haki back...

so kaido will be teleported near kidd and luffy. While law, killer and zoro will try to beat bigmom. Law’s powers would be able to successfully hit on what zoro or killer plans of attacks.

so what would happen is that, luffy would regain his haki back but kidd already gave all he got that eventually hurt kaido in someway. As luffy is pissed, and ready.
Luffy showed kaido his gear fifth, full of ryou, cant be hitted by kaido, and too fast for kaido.

this form is like a guardian, that looks like can tank anything who gets on its way even kaido. Like i said full of ryou, both offensive and defensive mode of luffy.

Gear 4th already drains his haki reserves significantly and Gear 5th would be nothing but that on steroids? Hard pass.

Though its possible he has a Gear 4th offense-only form where he prioritizes power instead of speed (Snakeman) or defense (Tankman).

true, but who knows really how gear 4th and gear 5th works. For all we know his haki definetely boost up its just that gear 4th really works like that and back then his second gear and third gear drains his years of his life. Perhaps gear 5th is like that, a last resort weapon only luffy can use.

gear 5/overdrive gear in cars is to conserve energy when youre driving for a long time on the highway. by rotating the gear faster than the engine rpm you can reduce the wear and tear on the car and save gas.

gear 5 will probably be like a long term powerup form that lets him fight for days at a time without stopping, while gear 4 will remain his highest attack power form
