There must be a reason why they'd switch it off then, don't you think? It's common sense.

1. He gives them a blueno treatment

Like yeah fluffy can't damage them but fluffy is so much stronger than them it will be like to logias fighting pre ts and since fluffy will obviously win it will be a waste of time.

Zoro in the base with two swords made Gandhi sweat and norosei was sent flying. Meanwhile, varkuri, without even attacking, forced g5 to run away and hurt his hand on his defense. Even two nicknames could only throw away the gorosei, lol.

Zoro did nothing the arc but beat luffys left overs. He couldn't even do that properly either. Luffy humiliated saturn more than once, even when he had Borsalino as back up. Luffy also sent mars packing.

Goofy couldn't defeat Lucci completely, left a bruise on his cheek for 4 nominal attacks (lol) and, becoming an old man, ran away, leaving a fully combat-ready Lucci.

Literally lost to Kizaru and if it wasn't for the food, Kizaru would have killed both him and his allies (Kizaru got up much earlier after the fight than Goofy without receiving serious damage). Then varkuri humiliated g5 standing on the spot without getting a scratch, while Goofy injured his hands with punches.

Then Goofy, with the help of the second nicky, Lanji and Frankie, was able to discard gorosei (lol, just discard). This is the most shameful arch for Goofy and it became clear that any higher level would destroy him (without food and help 1 on 1).
