Current Events Luffy has been Pathetic Egg-Head Arc

Besides literally being confirmed Walmart Replica of a Historical Legend Joy Boy and put in his shadow so horribly back, all of Luffy's accomplishments now are termed as Joy Boy's Accomplishment because that is what they literally are.

Luffy died, and upon death, his Haki which is source of life ended and he got reincarnated as Joy Boy, with Joy Boy's Own Haki that got stored in the Joy Boy fruit, and we know that is possible because Joy Boy is only character who has shown ability to store Haki but even with Joy Boy's Haki this has been Luffy's Performance Egg-Head arc:

Can you people stop treating fan speculation like legit criticism of the story.

Egghead Luffy is really trash. He kept forcing underaged Bonney to fight, forced her to attack Saturn herself.
Bonney is just 12 years old girl, even younger than pre TS Vivi or Rebecca.
Why doesn't he punch Saturn himself without dangering the poor little girl?
He didn't force Vivi to fight Crocodile or Rebecca to fight Doffy. What Luffy did can just result in Saturn easily killed Bonney.

But but Momo too
Momo's case is different he was already 28 when he bite Kaido. And Momo is supposed to be the next leader of Wano. While Bonney is just normal 12 years old girl and Kuma or RA can protect her so she doesn't have to fight anymore for the rest of her life.
That's why Luffy became dumber and dumber.

Everybody has been pathetic really, the gorosei included. All dumb plot stuff.

Also Why couldn't Imu just go and wipe everyone out, My guess Imu is overly attached to that area and doesn't want to leave.

Like Katakuri taking a donut break in a fight against Imu that could be a weakness. If someone breaks a portrait of lili it could set Imu off like the mother caramel portrait for big mom but I digress.

Even with agenda stuff aside, Oda’s treatment of Luffy has indeed been deplorable.

Even those trying to defend him can offer nothing when you remind them of him lying helpless on the ground begging for food.
The very fact that they have to pretend like it didn’t happen while still trying to glaze what happened after he got fed says it all

How is him lying on the floor begging for food “trolling” when his friends were about to be killed one by one in front of him?
:choppawhat:

Mmmm thats why I said in instances he is trolling.

And dude leaves his nakamas in deadly situations most the time when he knows they can handle it (plot)

He doesn’t receive haki from Joyboy. Where does it confirm Luffy relies on that haki? It’s his own. Plus an awakening isn’t something one masters immediately. The more powerful, the more the drawbacks.

I think it’s important to remember that Luffy is supposed to be a character who has a skyrocket pirate career to inevitably become king of the pirates. That’s what the stories tells us repeatedly. But his struggle to that top is meant to be difficult, considering Luffy will seemingly accomplish this goal in an extremely short time compared to the enemies he is facing with decades of pirate experience. Now Oda’s way of doing with repetitive power downs for Luffy…that gets tiring. Pun intended.

Oda will find ways to make Luffy an underdog narratively to emphasize this. He’s a 19 year old shonen golden child. You can hate that trope, but it is what it is.
