Most sensible people understand that the WSS title has a few caveat, I mean, Zoro himself does:
Being a swordsman in One Piece definition isn't just fighting with a sword, you aren't a swordsman just because you fight a swordsman with a sword. There's more to it then that (related to "sword skill").
However, if we go by the Zoro/Mihawk fan definition of what a swordsman is, then anybody that holds a sword or fights with a sword is considered a swordman. Going by this definition Zoro will never be the WSS, and really, Mihawk will be exposed as a fraud easily. And the reason is this:
Here, Oda drew Nika with a sword. If we go by the logic of Zoro/Mihawk fans, Nika is a swordsman. Now this still wouldn't matter if not for 1 thing:
Luffy competently uses a weapon here to bat away Saturn's spitballs. In other words, Luffy briefly became the Worlds Strongest Batman here. Why this matters is because previously, Oda steered clear of making Luffy use weapons and stuck to his h2h, when he did use weapons, they were either extremely incompetently and in a joke-like way (when he punches with the sword in Wano), or uses boxing gloves or something. But in this instance, Luffy competently used a weapon in a fight. This, combined with the Nika silhouette makes it very likely that in the future Luffy is also going to use the sword and spear in the fight, and going by Mihawk/Zoro fans definitions, become the WSS, especially because Zoro will never be stronger then Luffy and Luffy is already stronger then Mihawk:
Off course, do I seriously believe Oda will make Luffy WSS officially? No. But that's where the caveats comes in and he sets out exactly why just holding and fighting with a swords does not make you swordsman. And that will also exclude Shanks/Rogers etc etc as swordsman so the leaching and titlescaling can officially end, as well as confirming Shanks>>>>Mihawk
