Speculations Luffy is the main liar of the series?

Is Luffy the main deceiver of the series? 1 Promised to defeat kaido and lost 5 times, and in the end Kaido lost to magma. 2 Promised to kick mom's ass and ran away from her every time, and in the end she lost to the Bombs. Why is Duffy such a liar?
Yeah that does not look good.
But biggest liar is Zoro.
Promised to never lose again to Mihawk until he beats him, went on to lose in almost every arc after that.

That's the point. Luffy was self-sufficient before Niki, albeit with a lot of pianos, but he developed a mediocre fruit perfectly and was good at it. Now his merits are the fruit of God. It was the fruit of God that brought him to the Low yonko league...
Not really, nobody for 800 years managed to become strong enough or had enough imagination for it to awaken. Before that it's just a goofy rubber fruit. Luffy got the fruit and pushed it to its limits until it evolved into the fruit of God because he worked hard and earned it.

Like knocking someone out with a massive hit and launching him into the depths of the island isn't considered a victory just because there was magma down there? It's like shooting someone on the head and saying "I didn't kill you, the bullet did".

I disagree. According to the above, in order for the fruit to awaken, it was necessary to die... That is, there is not only a latent awakening, but also a resurrection....

Not you lmao, the OP. I agree that the magma argument is retarded.:kata:

:ihaha:

Imagine saying this despite Zori bring shown to be a fraud.

No ZKK, no new sword god and no rounding up the samurai

Luffy did beat Kaido though. The guy didn't just hop in the magma just cause, he had his flame dragon punched, horn broken and was hurled so far into the ground he reached magma. I agree, it's disappointing he didn't beat Big Mom after all their issues, I would've also liked to see him whoop Jack but what happened was fitting enough.

I feel like some promises though like Luffy whooping Jack or Zoro rounding up the Wano swordsmen shouldn't be taken too far, sometimes stuff simply doesn't go a certain character's way and they got to make due with the current situation and make compromises.
