Throughout all of egghead Luffy has used Acoc once and that was on Kizaru after that all we seen was basic armanent attacks from Luffy vs Luffy in Wano :

why did Luffy hold back on using acoc on the goresei ? was it for oda to save the hype for Emeth ?

G5 is so strong Luffy doesn’t need to spam ACoC in G5 to be effective.

you can see that once Luffy got G5, he used quite a few hakiless attacks on Kaido:

• Body slam
• Jump rope
• Lightning

Using G5+ACoC is probably something Luffy only does when he’s going all out.

Nerfing and at the same time riddle him with plot armor...does this to pretty much everyone whenever he feels like it tbh; just more visible with Nika for obvious reasons.

That was probably it, after all we saw what happened to Kizaru when Luffy decided to get a little serious, there wouldn't be anyone left if Luffy had Spam Acoc like he did against Kaidou, but unlike the characters in EGG Kaidou could calmly withstand the attacks while the others couldn't.

none of these guys had kaido aura on egghead no use luffy trying against these guys it makes sense

Is Zoro a retard for not using it against Lucci? Or was he just using it the entire time and had a 20 chapter fight with Lucci but it was just invisible

Maybe he didn't use it to conserve Gear 5 longer. As the Gorosei are immortal and constantly regenerating it would be a huge waste of his energy to use Acoc causing him to have less Gear 5 uptime which was vital in protecting people.

oda drew haki for joyboy n nusjuro n luffy wsg in tht span of time there’s no way he forgot to simply add haki to luffy attacks vs the goresei luffy used acoc once thts it

It’s just a consequence of Oda’s silly decision to make ACoC just armament 2.0.

Now he has to make characters forget that they can use it, on top of unclear visual cues on when it’s actually being used or not.
