Luffy parallels Whitebeard too.

We are getting Marineford 2.0.
Luffy will be Whitebeard of Marineford 2.0
Garp will be Ace of Marineford 2.0
Blackbeard will be Admiral of Marineford 2.0

Luffy is going to defeat Akainu in Marineford 2.0.

Then he will fought every Blackbeard pirates like Whitebeard.

Whitebeard lost but Luffy will win.

BB has no place in the Final War, which by WB's words has to take place after the OP, which BB wants in the first place.
It goes BB vs SHs > OP discovery > Final War.
By the time that last step occurs, either the Marines and Akainu are no more, or BB is long since sleeping on the sea floor.

Luffy will fight Blackbeard, and it will both be a battle of the wills that they've inherited as well as their own dreams.

In the end, Blackbeard (who is always awake and never dreams) will be defeated. He goes to sleep and doesn't wake up. A fitting end.

Anyways, a war that will happen, between the the world goverment and the Strawhats, Whitebeard said that someone will cary the history of all these centuries and challenge the world to a fight, The World = Imu/god knights/gorosei. It will be much bigger than Marineford and will prpbably happen after Luffy becomes PK, because I don't see how his crew could learn everything before that, and the major villain there won't be Akainu.
