Zoro was having trouble with Lucci. Sanji is a better matchup against kizaru anyway do to speed intercepting kizaru's light beams.
Another ironic comment. It seems you didn’t read past the flashback to where Kizaru was on his feet, kicking Franky and asking the Strawhats to show him his growth.
You also somehow missed Luffy begging for food on the ground and needing outside help to even get up.

because Luffy doesn't really have to kizaru knows he stands no chance in a 1 vs 1 confrontation. And as overwhelming strong Luffy is compared to kizaru gear 5 still drains a lot of stamina to use. So he'll need when dealing with that issue.

Not sure what you’re even trying to say with the 1st sentence. Luffy momentarily knocked down Kizaru and then was helpless begging for food. Kizaru on the other hand got up and went on to kick Luffy’s crewmate, have conversations, issue orders and go about with his hands in his pockets.
