Let's be honest but he has been consistently comparable with Luffy in strenght throughout the major storyplot, either a bit stronger or weaker so the trend will probably keep being portrayed

I can agree on this. But maybe the EoS foght Luffy vs BB will be between a Luffy who has the best forms possible of haki (he maybe already has them) while most likely having the awakened gomu gomu but he will be a sort of "hakiman" like his idol Shanks while BB will have an haki at best on par with Luffy while his guns will be his 3 awakened df and more than that how can merge their powers: just to cover the attack field imagine an hybrid dragon BB holding with a yami hand an admiral, or any other strong df user, while he punches with the other hand imbued with the gura gura plus the strength of the dragon fruit. Then there is the defence of the dragon scales (ehich cover thevyami weakness of taking increased damage), yami hax and many uses, mobility as a dragon etc. So he is/will be somebody heavily focused on his dfs (unlike Luffy who will focus more on his haki).
