Speculations Luffys post Egghead Bounty

Nah I think oda will keep it close as shanks luffy and Blackbeard is his actual trio and Kid and law were just place holders.

4.086 for shanks
4 Billion for luffy
3.996 for Blackbeard

Then when Blackbeard beats shanks he’ll get his 5.096 Billion bounty and luffy will get his 5.6 Billion bounty for beating him

I have my doubts on that. Luffy needs at least two more arcs before being close to any of these two in bounty let alone surpassing one of them even if for a short period. Tho we wait and see.

Luffy will defeat Saturn and surpass Shanks and his bounty after Egghead, so he'll get to meet him in Elbaf and give him the strawhat back.

Zoro will defeat Kizaru and get a 3b bounty, so he gets closer to Mihawk's strength and bounty.

Saturn ain’t getting defeated otherwise what’s the point in creating Seraphims and MK III? which were supposed to delivered to WG and boost their strength after replacing the warlords. Think of it from a story point of view.

Luffy is the one who is gonna finish Kizaru. Zoro has no chance currently. He ain’t the MC.

Honestly, I don't think it would have any sense for Luffy and the SHP to defeat both Kizaru and Saturn and basically do a thing that has never been done and still receive a bounty lower than the lowest original bounty of the Emperors.

He definitely isn’t the weakest. BB is bound to be the strongest among them soon and only surpassed by Luffy mid fight when it happens. That’s just OP 101. I do think they are on a similar level now. However, bounties aren’t always about strength, but rather threat level and actions done. So imo although Luffy has done crazy shit as usual. Furthermore, how threatening would BB and Shanks be if Luffy has a bounty higher than his biggest rival now of all time while only 48M lower than the person he wanted to surpass! It’s all about tension if it doesn’t exist the story falls apart.

Cause either:
A. Luffy won’t beat Saturn and the ancient robot will
B. The incident of Saturns death will be covered up

Bound to be yes. But currently? No. There’s no way that Blackbeards current strength is his final power level.

Do you honestly believe after this arc Oda would let the gap between Luffy and Shanks only be 48M?
Shanks might actually be the current strongest pirates, but the increase isn’t about that besides he doesn’t need any titles to be at 4.8B and definitely this bounty increase is no where near the status of being the PK cuz the previous one had a 5.5B.

I don’t think the defeat of Kid would do anything to Shanks bounty. However, who knows what else he may do worth such increase and let’s not forget BB went from 2.247B to 3.998B in a short time without knowing the reason so it won’t be surprising if Shanks get the same treatment just for the sake of bounty having a decent balance for story purposes aka for Shanks to still have a decently higher bounty than Luffy for the time being.

Oda isn't having Shanks reach 4.5B+ just because its Shanks
If he wanted Shanks to have 4.5B+ , he would have done it already

This arc is where Luffy reaches Shanks fame (4B) status. Shanks isn't gonna have any big lead anymore

With egghead Island soon coming to a close and a incident said to take place the question is what will Luffys new bounty be?

Let's see

Firstly- the defeat on admiral kizaru (unless he joins)

Secondly- punching a gorosei and leaving a permanent wound, or just straight up defeating him

Thirdly- adding vp to his forces whether crew member or just an ally will had a major force of power to luffys arsenal, Sakazuki even stated that If vegapunk allied with luffy then the wg lost a major source of power

Almost has if he believes Luffy will get out of this alive which he probably does he never once underestimated luffy

Given these factors and I believe we'll get a comic relief moment of buggy reacting to Luffy surpassing his bounty

I'd say 4 Billion bounty for these actions
