Powers & Abilities Luffy's PU this arc are way too many even for the MC!!

AdCA, AdCoC, awakening , pirate Jesus, overpowered DF, Telepathic power, what else is left? I mean, I like luffy, don't get me wrong, but this many PU's in a single arc are very difficult to diggest for me since he is the only one of the crew getting this many PU's. Why has Oda decided to choose this Naruto and Bleach MC path, rather than a consistent growth? This question is beyond me, at this point luffy is the most powerful character on the verse... I do not know, I still like OP a lot, but this many PU are nonsense. What do you think about this? Do you agree?

Most of the power ups happened not only in this one arc, but one single fight.
He learned and imoroved ACOC against Kaido.
Improved his G4 time and switching between forms.
And now awakening.
He even got a new devil fruit
All against one guy
Not even Naruto and Ichigo had something like this

Goes to show how strong Kaido is, Oda could only have him defeated by giving Luffy virtually every powerup that exists.

That's how we know that Oda truly does plan on ending One Piece soon. Luffy is being geared up for his EoS fight, and there most likely won't be too many arcs left.

I do think it makes a good point about Kaido, that Luffy has to be advanced in all three colors as well as awakened to win, even though Kaido has been fighting more opponents throughout the arc.

But, as with all things Haki, it just doesn't appear to be planned or executed well.

Kaido is the world's strongest creature, and Luffy is 19.
None of Luffy's powerups have felt as bullshit as Zoro never using CoC and suddenly getting adv CoC because of Enma sucking him too hard.

Agreed. Here's my post on it.

If I was Oda, I would have reserved G5, Awakening, and Adv CoC into the future arcs and focus on Adv CoA for Wano. In extreme case, I would have let Awakening as a key for beating Kaido. But nah, Oda have to crammed so much power-ups into one arc.
