I belive Lufy D monkey will at some point in manga be able to produce resin substance from his ruber body and coat himself so he can swim inside water without his evil fruit powers being drained..

But if it’s made from his DF won’t the water still affect him anyway?

Not really, we saw that in water they dont lose their powers, they just get weakened. It will be the same principle of the bubble, water does not shut down their powers, just weakens the user, and since it wont be touching him....

teh luffy coating himself with resin substance that his ruber body produce won't be in shape of buble..it will look like when u aply oil or other substance in ur whole body..air will be dried from inside resin bubles..
