Speculations Lurking legend : who is it ?

Oda mentioned there will be lurking legend who will be greatest challenge strawhat will ever face .

So far we know Im and Rocks can be huge threat other than Kaido but Rocks isnt alive and Im is end game villain and was it just hype about "Rocks " pirates when oda mentioned it as synonym (technically rocks alliance is formed by Big mom pirates and beast pirates ).

There are theories shiki could be one of the contender so far we have reached peak of this arc and no mention of shiki at all ?

What do you guys think about mystery of Lurking legend ?

Legend means someone with legacy, maybe from the past generation.

Lurking means he/she hasn't been involved, only watching from a distance.

It's Rocks as a collective. Kaido and BM as former members forming a great alliance to oppose Luffy + the legacy of Rocks inspiring Blackbeard and maybe the man himself still playing a role.

I think it’s definitely related to Blackbeard. Rocks is possessing Blackbeard or something along those lines.

Im going for shiki...there are very few ways to reintroduce him and this is a great way to do it after the yonko saga.

Shiki is not relevant enough. He’s comparable to guys like John, Ouchoku, and Silver Axe. The only difference is that he was lucky enough to be a movie villain, so he got inflated hype to hype up his movie.

Idk about that being Shiki, and even if it was, it’s just a neat easter egg from Oda imo. I don’t see how that detail can become relevant since the old hag died 20 years ago

Well if not Shiki it must be my second guess. Someone must've been Yonko before Shanks ( at least that's what my headcanon tells me ).

Nah nothing stated that the Yonko system was considered a thing before Shanks, and even if it was it’d just be called the Sanko
