Lets take a look at all the fights of the M3 and see which fights (wins) were fair 1v1s and which were not, whether they defeated the enemy at their strongest or was their opponent nerfed in some way or not using their main abilities.

Oda always makes fights fair. Unless for very specific ones like Oars/Moria.

Doflamingo? Just because of Law? Luffy being fighting the whole day since Punk Hazard no sleep. He got beat up by Bellamy. Both stated the other to be not in the best condition. Oda always put opponents into same condition. Kaido was just the same. He fought a bunch of people? Yeah. But the last 1v1 they were both in equal conditions. Same thing about Katakuri. At best you have an argument with Cracker.

On a fair note the ones that really had unfair fights are

Enel - Hard counter, gauntlet
WB - mental nerf vs Xebec, friendly vs Roger, cancer and age Marineford
Kaido - gauntlet
Imu - Gauntlet

Hardly fair if we consider health and weapons

Luffy:
Arlong (Not Fair) Several people helped him out (call it enviromental advantage, but in this scenario, it wasn't fair)
Croc (Not Fair) Luffy had several trys, luck, Robin saving his ass, by accident finding out Croc's weakness - without all that he'd never been able to go for a third round
Enel (Not fair) Literally Enel's only counter in the entire manga, which rendered his df almost useless


Zoro:
Pica (Unfair?) Aren't we forgetting that Orlumbus was helping him out?


Sanji:
Queen (Fair) Unless you count power ups as unfair, then you'd have to apply the same logic to Zoro vs Kaku and Mr.1
Killingham (Indifferent), Judging by Killinghim being turned into an akkordeon and Sanji having called him a small after the fight was over, it appeared like Sanji's very first kick already ended the fight and then the Strawhats just wrapped him up.

It's more about the 1v1 thing, Orlumbus served as Uber ride like Jinbei and Sanji etc.

I am saying that in terms of 1v1 fight, not the contextual fight. Like if you put the two characters again at the same point in story but without the much of the plot interference, just the two characters with their full arsenal. Why did Luffy need the help of those guys, none of it was to actually help him in dealing damage to Arlong directly.

I can see what you mean by the Croc fight and I think you are right to some degree but Luffy didn't use water in the last fight, he used his own blood.

Against Enel the interference of anyone outside hardly had any effect on the real fight. Maybe I am wrong I don't know how much damage he took from the Impact Dial of Wyper.

Again I am talking about the 1v1 context, Orlumbus throw was to help close the distance, it wasn't helping Zoro avoid any damage or amping Zoros damage. I don't think Pica actually took any damage from ISDS unlike 1080P earlier. I will have to recheck but if Pica took damage from Zoros first hit then yes it would be unfair since Zoro hit Pica off guard.

In how many fights have we seen an opponent deal self damage or give up their advantage to focus on something else.

I am talking about KHam now, previously it involved Jinbei and Franky too I don't really remember. But for now KHam is fighting without using his hyped defining ability of the MMAs which are being dealt with by the giants. I know you are part of the anti Cracker gang but imagine if Jinbei or SHs were dealing with Crackers soldiers while Luffy was fighting Cracker main body.
