i wasn't "having fun" generally since i was one of the primary targets for all the toxicity and emotional blackmail alongside lind. i just filtered it out and stayed for the memes
in terms of fun, the weebs game before it in 2021 was more fun but in general mafia was more fun back then too (could be rosy retrospection)

I had an idea long ago idk if it was stupid or not but i talked about it with Fuji and Prof at the time but they were busy with Weebs to work on it and i also kinda forgot about it and never thought about it again....

I'll tell to you two first, since you're working on preparing the weebs i'm sure u had your fair share of crazy ideas when it comes to set ups!
Basically i had this idea to bring some "" activity "" in the mafia section, the idea is that of an endless mafia game.......
Yea you heard that right a mafia game that never ends
Now if my calculations are correct your faces should look something like this :
And you probably thinking :
" Wtf is this guy saying ? An endless mafia game ? We barely have time for a mafia game that actually ends! How are we supposed to play a game that never ends ? Should we quit our jobs and leave our families ? "
No! Ofc not! I'm not that insane!!
Or am i ?
So here's the thing we have created quite a bit of Super Role Madness and Role Madness games, and i'm sure there's also tons of set ups & roles people have discarded in those years!
And while i was petting my cat in my super secret evil base:
I had this crazy idea!!
You're ready ? Here it goes!
Basically the idea was to create a SRM/RM Mafia Game that people can join & quit as they please the current set up of the mafia game is randomly picked from a pool of previously played SRM/RM games Or submissions from other hosts.
When people join they get to pick their alignment and will randomly get assigned an available role from that set up or a role that fits that set up form another game set up if the roles from the current one are all filled OR they can even create their own role and join with that!!
After a certain amount of cycles like idk 2/3? Or maybe after some in game events the set up switches to another one. To always keep things fresh!
During the day it's just another mafia game, during the night people can just do whatever and treat the thread like a " Mafia general chat " thread ( well they can just do whatever during the day as well ) ofc the game should not be " taken seriously " it's just meant to have some crazy & fun to play roles throw some random abilities and pretend we're playing a mafia game but without the intensity of an actual game
So it's pretty much a " Mafia general chat " thread but " let's pretend we're playing mafia "
It probably needs a lot of thinking on how to make it viable but i think this could be a way to also bring some new players in the community without throwing them in an actual game and maybe just give them a super fun role from the get go so they can have fun with the abilities and maybe join some actual games in the future but i also think it could actually bring some new activity in the section cuz let's just say you wake up and just want to join in kill some townies and dip out you could do that! Create your role join & have fun! ( Ofc it also means that there should be a host etc etc again it might need some thinking )
What do you guys think ? Is it too crazy ? Should i seek a good Doctor ?

Mafia has lost it's appeal cause everyone is getting older, everyone has played millions of games with each other and the themes of games have become stale. At this point just like fanverse, unless fresh blood and fresh game concepts creep it it will just remain niche going forth. I'm more or less ending my time with mafia and will only play every once in awhile. I know that may warm some people's hearts but the game of mafia will miss having players like me. Just like we have lost many good players over the years who have moved on. I've done everything I can do within the confines of mafia aside from winning at mafia championships and everybody knows the championships are a rigged farce of anal itching your friends.
People get older, people get families, people get responsibility. It's the way of life, everything has to come to an end eventually. Reality is the days that anime was a niche thing is no longer true, anime/Manga is way more accepted now than when I was growing up, people are no longer signing up to niche forums to discuss their favorite anime/manga, they have their social media, their twitters, their reddits. We live in the time of social media, Mafia games are already niche within itself, Peeps are just busy nowadays to commit to playing them unless it gets popular again through a social media trend.
If I was younger I would love to host more games, play more games but I'm at that stage of my life where I no longer have that time available to me. Though sad peeps I know from the Mafia community are gone I am grateful for the moments I had with them, when I'm out I hope I gave ya some good or bad memories .
Now that I'm atm free of some drama in life I'd like to host one more game and call it a good run a theme worthy of good send off for my time as a Mafia host. Now I get the feeling FV Mafia is dead but this theme is much more than a section, it's about the tradition of it. I'd mayhaps like to host Favorites here and retire.
