I know you Ladmiral Aokiji copers are still slow about Aokiji being underling but current delusional state of Aokiji copers is really sad.
Aokiji being in there is no different than Imu's underlings and Dragon's underling Sabo is being there,
Maybe Ladmiral cope is too much for your brain after coping about ''Aokiji not being Teach's underling'' and Ladmiral copers still cry about it with Aokiji fanfictions that him being ''uNdErCoVeR'' even when Oda literally said he joined to live freely

Him joining the the Blackbeard pirates was his own choice. And if Aokiji did decided to betray Blackbeard or not it's really pointless because Blackbeard doesn't even trust anyone in his own crew as it is. Hell he will even kill a few crew members if it will benefit him he does not care about Aokiji betrayal in the slightest.
BB is clearly one of the primary antagonists of the series. For me, the primary antagonists are BB, Imu, and Sakazuki. Having Kuzan join the Black Beard Pirates is fine IMO as One Piss has enough characters to keep track of. Better to merge his fate with BB then keep it separate. Even with that said, I would have perfered if Oda kept him as a marine.
You guys hate on everything post-TS for the sake of it lol. Post-TS has many issues and this is not one of them. It was actually an amazing decision for Kuzan to go against the organization he's served so long for and even rebel against his beloved mentor while not being completely morally evil like his captain, Teach, and instead be a morally grey character trying to understand the world and possibly make up for sometimes being quiet as the marines committed atrocities that go against his ideologies lmao while his rival Akainu instead doubles down on his extremist mindset and makes the marines stricter than ever. Hachinosu was brilliant and Kuzan vs Garp was extremely emotional. It was great writing.
