General & Others Marco being late makes no sense

He was so confident in beating weevil but not so fast. So he will be late to recover & food stock preparation.
but weevil was likely held by navy from news + Yonkou alliance, so he gone to wano. He though he still behind neko, but what, neko got someone else.

Honestly, Marco at this stage did arrive late

Because Nekumamushi is late himself

Nekumamushi should have made the walk with Scabbard, but he's waay too late

Which for me feels like Marco arrived late as his message is supposed to be, but Nekumamushi's fat ass was too slow to arrive earlier

Or the time he spent to find more recruitment probably made him late too (Like Izo)

How does Marco know he will be late? The problem with him arriving was Weevil. How does he know Weevil won't arrive at Sphinx island ONE MONTH or TWO MONTHS from now? How does he know Weevil will be dealt with BEFORE the war starts?

Weevil was on the loose. He was looking for WBP so it was fair on Marco part to assume that weevil will soon come to that island.


As far as why Marco knew that Warlords would be targeted then I guess from Morgan news. It was widespread that warlord system was abolished and we saw warlords getting attacked so I am quite sure morgan will cover that.


So nothing ambiguous about this

You have the dates goofed up. He wrote his message during the Reverie. He would have at some point after been able to find out Big Mom was heading there and how Luffy would be in the middle, even if it was a week before the Yonko Alliance was (discreetly) reported

Anyway, there are like a dozen threads jumping the gun on Marco right now. Time to sit and wait for 983

- he wanted to help Luffy
- but he had a problem of his own
- he assumed it's gonna take him a while to do that
- somehow he manage to do it faster
- and now he is on Wano
