How he could hold King and Queen with a body made of gas? It's more likely that he is more similar to the liquid logias.

Anyway, even if he is truly only fire (gas) wasn't the point, the point was that cutting his wing is not a relevant feat because you need to cut his true body to injure Marco and this skill of cutting fire won't be useful in his future fights (King).
