What will be Marco role for the rest of the arc ?

Marco has no crew, no purpose and will not play a significant role after Wano. So I believe he will die grandly, sacrificing his life for Luffy's.

Maybe Kaido will kill Luffy (ending the collapse of Act 3), and then Marco will use his phoenix resurrection power to save Luffy, and it will cost him his life in the process. I think that Whitebeard's order for Marco not to let Luffy die will have a deeper weight, so it is very likely that Marco will be facing big fish (Kaido and BM) with Luffy.

I think too that Marco will protect Luffy from a fatal attack or "heal" him greatly for him to continue to fight. I can even see Marco sacrificing himself to tank an attack or to use his awakening to heal the alliance.

But don't you think that if Marco uses his max power to resurrect Luffy giving his life it will be too much like Law's ultimate power ? And we know that one day that power will be relevant

Isn't Law's full power the "Perennial Youth Operation"? I think it just gives a person eternal life, without getting old. I don't think Law can resurrect anyone (I may be mistaken).

I don't know why I thought that Law DF could resurrect someone too... but yeah it is only giving eternal youth (already quite something)

So Marco has a ticket to use that power. But there is the weevil case too , maybe this has to be dealt before
