Tbh if Drake and Apoo aren't used as hypetools for CP0 elites, BMP might as well not be used either.

Nah I'm not talking about the CP0 goons or Lucci.

I'm talking about whoever's with them. They are coming here to take over Wano. I don't think Lucci or the CP0 goons are capable of doing that on their own, they probably have atleast an Admiral (Ryokogyu?) or something similar (SSG?) with them imo.

The remaining BMP would serve as a good hypetool for what that force is capable of doing.

Those are only WG ships, Navy isn't with them, there's no navy ship among that fleet, if they have some agent stronger than Lucci and those CP0 goons in Onigashima then yeah the BMP might be used as hypetools for them, maybe even SSG

Well Navy ships only have the writing on the front side of their sails, not on the back - atleast not in the ships they sent after Mihawk/Buggy. It could be both imo, not just strictly WG.
But yeah, I don't think Oda has any plot/narrative purpose for the BMP this arc - he used them as an hypetool for King and Marco already. It's probably going to be used similarly for the force that's invading Wano now.

Those are only WG ships, this is WG dirrctly trying to anex Wano in case Kaido falls, Cipher Pol are also the ones with the tasks to eliminate those who know too much (Drake is a marine, he knows too much, doesn't want to report that to the navy, they want to eliminate him).

They are literally taking Doflamingo's role they want to continue the weapon business with Wano, Navy will never stand behind that anyway, especially anex Wano. They had Doffy do the dirty work for them before, now they have to step out themselves with him out of the picture.

I wonder if Oda isn't leaving Smoothie for a next arc, or maybe she is deemed as too weak or strong to be taken on by a specific Strawhat and so the Big Mom Pirates may be destined to a harsh the in the future. 🤔

Smoothie will be Lucci's hype tool, I've already given up on her.

  • Fodder#1: Despite being defeated in past he is confidently matching yonkou commander?! This guy Rob Lucci!
  • Fodder#2: Perhaps he's as strong as the current Mugiwara no Luffy?!
