Marcos plot line and whole point being in wano is for kaido and for luffy. Marcos promise is to ace and Whitebeard nothing to do with big mom kidd or anyone else,
Marco has been stalling the calamities for their real oppponents zoro and sanji.
Marco has nothing to do after that point.
Zoro and sanji will tell him that luffy is in a 1v1 because he has to ask about luffy he has his promise and is the reason he even came to wano.
Marco has to go to the roof because that’s the only plot line he has. He’s not gonna go help kidd or law against big mom when the person he promised to protect is in a 1v1 against the guy with a 1v1 bet.
that’s why marco will go to the roof. He won’t be against big mom because it’s about the new generation and they can’t get help from the old generation because it goes against the theme of wano.
Marco teaming up with anyone to fight a yonko is not gonna happen. It doesn’t make sense at all and is something I see that’s just being forced
Marcos role this arc is to most likely just die. Ace and Whitebeard died. Marcos death would be very symbolic of the outcome of wano. It would also bring more tension and stakes.
He also serves no role in the story after this arc and he can’t get a new bounty because the old generations bounties won’t increase this arc. They can’t go up.
