Character Discussion Marco's Post-Wano Role

We know that Marco is now free to do whatever he wants. So, what will he do after Wano?

When Luffy confronts Blackbeard, will he help him in any way? It would seem strange that he would ignore Blackbeard's threat, after all he did to his former crew.

We also know that Weevil is looking for him. That's why I think Marco will be key in future sagas, as Law has been so far.

Hard to tell, I'd say that he will help SH reach the island where Ace and WB were buried. There the Weevil situation will be handled imo (a Zou-like arc)

Weevil might team up with Luffy to take down Blackbeard. Remember that he also hates him for killing his dad.

As for Marco he will be one of the many allies in the WG war I guess.

Actually I totally hope he will join the final war as an ally of Luffy. I can totally see that unless Oda will opt for killing Marco somehow or some other weird unforegone scenario.

I think killing Marco would be weird. The WB Pirates have already suffered a lot. They lost WB, Ace, Thatch, Oars Jr. and, on top of that, Blackbeard decimated them after Marineford. Marco is the only one who can preserve WB's legacy.

I think killing Marco would be weird. The WB Pirates have already suffered a lot. They lost WB, Ace, Thatch, Oars Jr. and, on top of that, Blackbeard decimated them after Marineford. Marco is the only one who can preserve WB's legacy.

Exactly, the only sense could be to say "only the new generation will remain and everything comes to an end sooner or later" but then again I would not be satisfied by it.

Killing him in Wano wouldn't make sense, but as much as I hate to admit it, he is not relevant enough to be in the final war.
I guess after Wano is done, he is going back to his doctor job.
