Break Week Marines or Blackbeard Pirates?

You are getting forcefully drafted into the Marines under Fleet Admiral Sakazuki after the events of Wano so troops are being deployed globally and you have been assigned to the New World to combat rebel countries and increasing pirate forces

By a twist of fate you run into Blackbeard on your way to a Navy Base and he asks you to join his crew because he senses potential in you, offering you a leisurely life on Pirate Island as one of his main mateys along with your most desired Devil Fruit.

Joining the marines is a good cause too but gotta say the deal breaker here is the devil fruit, if Sakazuki offers me a logia or a high end paramecia I wouldn't think twice about joining the marines but in this scenario it's definitely Teach and the boys

Yeah, but in some cases you’re avoiding danger by getting into even worse trouble. If I went full pirate, I’d do it with a cool crew.

Honestly the BBP would probably do pirate like shit on a daily basis like Killing, raping, pillaging and peer group pressure would force you to do the same unless you're on officer

I'd much rather be with the Navy who at least have some sort of rules even though i totally believe that they do the same to WG unaffiliated countries like we've seen with Marco's island.

I don't think BB controls what the lowest of his crew are doing. It's because he doesn't set boundaries that i think those things are happening. Shanks for example does set rules.

Yeah no sry then you're definitely a million times braver than i am because i wouldn't dare to try and change shit in the military. I'd only be signing my death warrant. The military is designed to serve and obey. Peer pressure is a sad reality and it's easily said than done to act against it.

The offer for a free df choice of your desire is rather tempting, and he wont offer that to just any fodder so you would probably be a titanic captain anyway when he sees potential in you and having a time of your life in pirate island so maybe that's the definitive answer
