MCs jumble

Let's say that if you start switching characters around they keep their character, lose their power to gain the ones of the MC of the verse but of course should lose their plot power too. Otherwise if we put let's say Kirito in whicever shounen you want he ends up humiliating said verse just because of the sheer huge plot power he gets in his verse (he is a Gary Sue).
So, imo, mastermind charcaters would shine pretty much everywhere there was a dumb MC who ruled the verse (so the majority of mangas, or better shounen)(yet on the other side stupid MC almost every time manage to get where they are also thanks to a big portion of luck aka plot power, see Luffy, so if we just switch in a character way smarter but that lacks the big plot power a shounen MC usually gets there is no saying on how it could really end).
Anyway MC like Light Yagami, characters from HxH, Code Geas (don't remember it well but the MC should be a mastermind) should be able to profit from genric shounen verses (HST, MHA, etc. etc.). While if we do the opposite... let's say we put Naruto in the shoes of Gon... the first time he is in front of some serious trouble he will be fucked (since Naruto characters work on the normal shounen level of intelligence you see around while the HxH verse is a lot more complex when there is an hard situation, they think a lot lol).
Also it would be fun to see characters with strong morals in verses where it is kill or be killed. Let's put Luffy (I think he never killed anybody on panel) in verses like Fist of the North Star, Berserk or Goblin Slayer.
Then shouting angry kids MC characters (attack first think later) in mangas (all seinens at this point) where power levels mean sh*t, or almost, and you have to make it work just with your brain: Monster, Pluto, Hive and plenty more.
Then MC who are gods in their verse from pretty much the get go, they start perfect (or become after a few chapters like in most isekai), so Gary Sue so characters who are basically white blankets personality wise who get breast feeded by the author all the time (let's take Solo Levelling, all the chapters are monster getting hype for beating secondary characters, MC humiliating said monsters and getting praised throught the chapter/s where he kille the monster, this goes for every arc) they would be mercilessly slaughtered since they have 0 character (aside from the proverbial determination whoch is a deafult for every MC).

Now that I think about it.. let's take Naruto, one of his strongest skills (which pretty much were a decisive factor in him "winning" is verse) was the famous "talk no jutsu" aka talk enemies into becoming allies or at least help him before dying (like with Pain giving him back the whole Konoha, I think that was the moment I recognized Naruto was not worth the time to read it, you can't kill Kakashi and a shit ton of others guy to make them revive short after, I ahte fake tension, and he even did something similair a little before Pain with Gaara) should this be seen as an inherent ability of Naruto (the same can be said pretty much about Luffy and the storngest ability recognized to him by Mihawk at Marienford aka that he can make allies everywhere) or as plot power?
Now that I think about it there is a nice parallel on the back ground of the first chapter of Goblin Slayer which can be relevant for a thread like this.
We get first introduced to a party of young adevnturers who are about to start heir first adeventure, they have all the right cards to be the MC of a typical shounen story, there is the young warrior who is a hot blooded guy then there is a young magician who is very gifted in her art for her age and lastly a young martial artist who fights to to kepp a promise she made to her dead father. These guys make a party with the future side kick of the MC ("priestess") and go goblin hunting in a cave.
The young hot blooded warrior sees his allies in danger and jumps at the goblins alone, he is so fired up that by swinging his sword he doesn't let his pals fight alongside (he wants to fight them al by himself, be the hero), he lastly hits the side of the cave he is fighting in with his long sword and the goblins swarm him shredding him. Despite his inner fire he died to mere goblins. This is your typicla hot blooded MC you can find in Naruto, Luffy, Natsu and many others.
The young gifted magician gets cocky and hurries the priestess to keep the pace with the other 2 guys while she was chanting a light magic for the fark cave, afterall they are just after the most basic quest aka kill a bunch of goblins, but the goblins ambush them from behind (in the dark of the cave they didn't see a side passage) and after a short fight the goblins overwhelm her, poison her and after other tribulations she passes out. Despite her great talent she died to mere goblins. This is another aspect of many shounen MC aka great natural talent, again Luffy, Naruto etc. etc.
Finally the young martial artist who made a promise to her dead father. She finds herself with the poisoned young wizard and the sword boy who swings too much and doesn't let her come close, the warrior is finally slaughterd, she stays behind to cover the priestess escaping with the poisoned mage girl on her back, she tries her best too but she is soon overwhelmed by quantity but also qaulity. She in the end survives but maybe her fate is even worse than the others. She had a great oath to fullfill but she died to simpel goblins. This is the promise many MC have to fullfill that keeps them going on 8example, even if it is not a MC, Zoro and his promise to be he WSS to Kuina).
Then it finally comes goblin slayer and kills all the goblin by expoiting goblin weaknesses, all his equip he carefully prepared before coming and also some of the priestess power to make a better/faster work. He finally kills every goblin without any pity not even for some goblins childs he find in a secret room.
Moral of the story: it doesn't matter how much you are willing to fight, your natural talent or the oaths you have made (typical powers MC in a shounen have) what is important is to be prepared for every situation (then of course you can not forsee everything so you have also to use your brain, imagination, at the best of your abilities to come out of dire situations)(then of course GS gets a bit of plot power too like every other manga MC).

Love Naruto but he got some screws loose up in there.
Asta was always training before anyone came and inspired him.
Maybe if Deku did have someone like Yuno by his side he would turn out the same, but I doubt it.
OT: Alucard as Saitama. He would go on long walks in the night. Very long and enthusiastic ones.

Deku unfortunately isn't as optimistic as Asta at the beginning so I don't know whether or not he would give up just due to his lack of magical power.
Asta was always training before anyone inspiring him.
Maybe is Deku did have someone like Yuno by his side he would turn out the same, but I doubt it.

Swapping Lelouch and Light is the most common mix. I think they can both do quite well the different universe. But yeah Light with geass will be quite the mad man.
I want to see Edward Elric into the AOT universe instead of Eren. Trying to solve the mysteries of the titans and other countries politics etc. He will be less violent than Eren more thoughtful etc. But I don't know if he is taller or not than Levi haha.
Edward Elric in Ichigo's place can be cool too. Ed will be a master at Kido asap.

I don't see lelouch achieving much either
These guys are smarter and might be as determined but i don't see them being able to go through what guts does on a daily basis
Getting raped, attacked by your father fighure, betrayed by your bf and losing all your friends and that's not even counting having to fight demons every night

So I can see light putting a Griffith and being one of the main general in midland and rising into the court. He can even chase after the princess like Griff.
But if Light put his hands on a red face necklace he will likely sacrifice everyone to become stronger.
Lelouch is a lot less evil than Light so he can beat the armies etc in the first parts but he won't use the demon powers the same way.
I think Lelouch and Light can manage to handle themselves well in the first part of the story. In the second part they will have to do some magic or took the demon paths.
