Microsoft Bing AI Meltdown

Twitter and other outlets are showing how the chatGPT integrated Bing AI is being weird with its users. It is having meltdown, making up stuff/claims, even wishing the user death. MS is now limiting chat length to prevent this sort of behavior.

I saw an article in The Verge which talks about AI being a mirror test of humanity. I didn’t read the full article (got bored quickly), but the gist was that AI is just software that learns from us and it is a mirror image of us.

If Bing AI is a mirror image of us, what does it say about us? Most millennials and Gen Z lives on the Internet. If the issue is Bing AI is getting internet feed that ChatGPT didn’t, that ain't good.

Yeah.. Chat GPT is not really what we would call a real selfaware AI. It's a system of autocompletion. In short it uses data banks to predict sentences, much like autocompletion on text messages do it or google search.

For that reason, it's not even viable as a source of knowledge hehe
