Speculations Mihawk killed an admiral to become World's strongest swordsman

So in regards to mihawk, I have had many questions about him.

Why is he a pirate? He doesn't attack civilians, he doesn't seem to steal, he either attacks pirates or duels people.

How did he get his title? Obviously, he must have gained his title by beating someone strong. But who?

So for the first question, there is only one way that a person can be a pirate. that is by going against the world government, this is a thing that every pirate does. Something Luffy did in one of his very first fights when he and zoro defeated axe hand morgan.

So Mihawk must have gone against the world government at one point of time. Why? My theory is that in the past, there was a powerful swordsman admiral who was regarded as the world's strongest swordsman. Mihawk killed this individual, attaining his title, but becoming a criminal in the process.

We don't know much about the marines before aokiji, kizaru, and akainu. We know that sengoku was an admiral, but we don't know who were the other two admirals at the time. Even if we consider Zephyr, who in all likelihood is non-canon, there would still be one missing spot for admiral. I theorize that this was the spot of the former world's strongest swordsman, who Mihawk killed to gain his title.

It's clear people see mihawk is above shanks. So there's a good chance he did beat shanks
Clear? Who see's? Not once did I ever. If WB had said those duals were legendary across the Grandline even you, the loser, still hailed a great swordsman. Or the like. I would Recognize Mihawk as the better. But it's implied not to be the case, and that's why I refuse to believe otherwise. It's not any Different from people saying Roger and WB were equals, Just one gained the title, the other didn't. But still seen as equals.

Mihawk was handed the WSS after Shanks an arm. People just assumed he was stronger since his great rival lost an arm. Shanks then quietly goes about his business and becomes one of the 4 most powerful pirates in the world proving everyone wrong.

Yeah. that's how it could of gone. I'd believe it, and it creates a legend or Myth. On top of Mihawk gaining an undeserved title handed to him unrightfully.

It's just that we don't know how the title came to be or who gave it. Oda keeping it in the dark.

I like this, but it has one small hole in it:

It requires for a former Admiral to have a World’s Strongest title when the Admirals are clearly not the world’s strongest in anything

Mihawk is WSS period.

Did WB beat WSM of his era to become WSM
Did Kaidou defeat WSC to become WSC?

Nope, titles are given by people on how they perceive about that person not because he killed someone of that stature. Zoro can become WSS even without defeating Mihawk by showing some bigger sword feat than Mihawk in the verse. Also, Blackbeard didn't become WSM eventhough he killed WB (spare me with fair or unfair bullshit, people in One Piece world don't look things that way)

Nope he cant how do you set a feat in relation with other feat

Mihawk is recognized as the strongest swordsman so you have to perform a feat that makes you the strongest swordsman without defeating the strongest swordsman how is that even possible ???

The same for Kaido how can he be refered as the strongest if he never had defeat WB ? its an contradiction

Mihawk doesn't kill

He just proves to be stronger than his opponent

It could have been manies and not just someone on admiral level

Whatever he did to be granted with WSS what matters is that he did
