Speculations Mihawk killed an admiral to become World's strongest swordsman

#21
On mihawk vivre card, shanks could be his last strongest opponent, so if shanks become a Yonkou 6 years ago then WG assume Mihawk was no less than Shanks too 4 years ago + "the one who cut Shanks arm was Mihawk" 's assumption..

It's clear people see mihawk is above shanks. So there's a good chance he did beat shanks
But if this is the case, why isn't shanks referred to as the former world's strongest swordsman?

If he ever was the strongest, i'm sure zoro would have brought it up. I think mihawk beat shanks but that's not how he got his title. Shanks didn't become a yonko until 4 years ago.

Just give up dudes...

World Strongest Swordsman is Mihawk there’s no questions about it in the series and no debate about it.

Until defeated he is at the top & #1
did I ever say otherwise?

I just think that the former world's strongest swordsman was an admiral, that mihawk killed or injurred him, and that's how he became a pirate

the more i look and think about mihawk and the more i feel like that he is probably one if not the most overated character by the overall fandom, it's insane. My cash on the bet that it won't even be zoro last fight if even they fight... I mean in which clown World do you ask the opponent that you Always wanted to beat, his help to train yourself. Not only that but you beg him.
which kind of individual are you to ask such a thing in such a way and which kind of individual is he to accept ?

Even if such a fight occurs, it will be just without any hype or taste or value, just because of that.

Mihawk and Shanks were equal as they fought each other several times. After Shanks lost his arm, Mihawk gave up on him as a rival.

The Vivre Card says he settled after he couldn't find any good opponent anymore. So I assume there was no such thing as "WSS" before the era of piracy. It was just Mihawk who had the ambition to sail around the world, fight strong swordsmen and owned them all, which resulted in the world recognizing him as the strongest one.
