From a narrative point of view, it would make no sense to introduce something if there is no meaning to it.

Mihawk is nigh-irrelevant to the story, and Zoro's dream, like the rest of the Straw Hats bar Luffy, is outright insignificant unless it becomes useful to Luffy's interests.

You mean just like any top-tier until they come to be ? Kaido and Bigmom were irelevent before their arc. Mihawk will not be Zoro's last fight, it would break the rules of classic narration that demands that a Gorosei guy to be the one.

The CG exist only as Oda tool to bring Mihawk+ favorites to endgame.

Oda need Mihawk to have presence later on for Zoro, but the way he developed Mihawk don't allow it without CG.

We'll be serious. Kid can't win Shanks with all his team and his giants. The only way the Kid can win and survive this fight is by getting allies, and who better allies than the Cross Guild. That the Cross Guild will now attack Shanks' crew, makes a lot of sense since Croco (buggy) has always been a very calculating pirate and also wants to be PK, and now is the best time for it. I guess Shanks and Ben will get hurt by Kid and Killer and after that Mihawk (who is stronger than them) will defeat them and Crocodile can get the ponegryphs and show how a genius pirate with 1.8 Billions works.

The same Crocodile who instantly refused Doffy proposal and saw it beneath him. With Mihawk though there are no issues

Its a fact that buggy is afraid of crocodile only though. Oda already showed us that mihawk is incapable of damaging his captain back in marineford. Those injuries in that panel are from sir crocodile.

Only one who hasn't done much is dragon but its 10x more then mihawk and he is the mc father and most wanted man so from him i expect stuff, not wss who doesn't want to fight anyone and didnt do anything for 1070+ chapters.
