I don't wish to attack on Mihawk here .... just give him more story arc
I do think Mihawk was in fact a spy from Shanks ... and here the reasons behind it
Mihawk is the only member in Warlords who don't match their power levle
not that he is not as good as them
no ... in fact he alone worth more than entirety of warlords ....
so him being a warlord while he have no interested of being one
or is far stronger than what WG can get make not much sense
Shanks was the last person to join Great Pirates and Mihawk was the last person to join Warlords and Ace novel kinda give us that idea
that Mihawk was one of last 2 Warlords to join World Government
Mihawk don't have much respect for World Government
Mihawk wasn't even interested to fight for World Government
but
as they said " you were the last person we expect to see"
and he wasn't even there to do anything and it's not like the information mattered to him
so why he was interested?
4- his clear connection with Shanks
so .... we know as a fact that Shanks is hardest Yonko to find
Mihawk randomly finding him means he should have Shanks viver card
so Shanks and Mihawk being that close make sense ... there are more of a friend now that rivals
and as you as see the top members of RHPs are not a BIT SHOCK to see Mihawk there simply cause they know enough
5- Shanks meeting
when Shanks had his meeting with Whitebeard he had too much information about Teach as of now
the very same topic that we Mihawk gathered by being in WG meeting
6- he rather Shanks to the Marine
when Shanks came to Marine fore he was the FIRST MAN to leave the war
he did want to make Shanks job easier
but also he kinda proved he respect Shanks more than what Marine want ...
7- Mihawk didn't care a bit about getting fired
I mean this is more than clear
he didn't give a fuck about being a warlord
in fact he seems to be more happy than ever
so ... I'm guessing he wasn't even happy for being a warlord to being with ....
so in the end it's about Mihawk hidden role in plot so far
that he was in fact helping Shanks to get more information for sake of the balance
it in fact would make me respect him more , that he truly care for sake of the world and is willing to do hardship for sake of his friend
again ... I'm not saying he was "working" for Shanks ... he was merely doing him a favor as an friend/ally
and I think it make perfect sense in every way if this be true
