Questions & Mysteries Mihawk was crushed by Linlin

#62
Nice teory, i'd like it

But i suppose that for oda linlin isn't important enough to be included in mihawk's background

I think it's more probably that mihawk's nakama tried to sell him to the wg/navy or something like this

Wouldn’t it make more sense if Mihawk was crushed by Roger?

In all likelihood, Roger was the WSSM of his age.

Mihawk held Roger in high regard. He went to his funeral and even said that becoming PK was harder than becoming WSSM.

Furthermore, Mihawk losing to Roger would explain why he had a rivalry with Shanks. Shanks was Roger’s protege. Buggy even said he thought Shanks would be Roger’s successor. After Roger died, I’m guessing Mihawk tried to beat Shanks because of his relationship with Roger.

However, once Shanks lost his arm, Mihawk lost interest because he knew Shanks would never rival Roger in strength.

Roger --> tricked Linlin and avoided a battle
Shanks --> fought and lost or at best stalemate katakuri
Luffy --> went in and saved his teammate while taking down two of her commanders

That's exactly what Oda would do

Mihawk probably lost to Linlin or an admiral in the past with his friends betraying him
