Powers & Abilities Mihawk's Haki and what Shanks new revelation could mean

Just an idea that popped in my mind after reading about Shanks CoC disabling his opponents Observation Haki. Is it possible that he developed this kind of trick because of Mihawk?

The idea is that Mihawk could posses a Haki ability to force his opponents to see whats coming to them. Which could give these panels a new meaning. If you see how these panels go.. Luffy attacks > Mihawks Eyes > Luffy sees the future.

Or it could have just been Luffy activating Observation due to a dire situation.

Thoughts ?

Are you open to the idea of more Haki abilities ?

Luffy haki bloomed that moment. Simple. Basic Observation was always a FS. Oda just came up with that bullshit to pretent there are levels of CoO that Luffy didn't learned yet.

You are overestimating Shanks greatly who is just a future stepping stone for BB at best.

Fact of the matter is Shanks is greatly inferior to Roger in terms of haki because his overall strength is far lower.

Shanks at best is a bit weaker than old WB. Roger was even with Prime WB. Roger had the voice of all things and was elite at all haki.

Shanks only has elite COC so far, and no good COO or COA feats. Actually his COA is so bad he loss his arm to a fish.

One armed yet still the Greatest Swordsman is still being compared to him, comical.

Yes it is Future Sight. But the ability Kat Luffy Shanks etc can let them see more seconds ahead not just whats coming. Even funnier the priest from Skypiea did see more than 1 second and yet i don't see anyone compares them to Kat etc lol.

I'm not gonna like it if Mihawk have the ability to give support to his opponent's CoO, it's weird and not beneficial to him imo.

Moreover i dont think Shanks will develop some skills because of Mihawk, there's no reason for him to do that since Mihawk is friendly rival / frienemy of Shanks, not nemesis or something.

Mihawk has strongest CoA - ultimate ability to cut anything, he cut elements as easily as solid objects, he automatically cut enemy's weakpoint as easily as breathing etc.

While Shanks has strongest ranged CoC. It can be a CoC laserbeam to zap his opponent or he can use his CoC to teleport anywhere his CoC can reach etc.

This post isn't about whos stronger or better. I was only using what revelation we have of shanks and trying to give a reason on why he possess such ability and opening the idea if there are other tricks that can be used with haki.
