Yeah he was rly interested in this war, this is why he did almost nothing, even tho he had in his presence a swordman he respected(Vista), and that argument that he was bored, it is just fanfiction.
The dude was blocked by Crocodile, and he couldnt defeat him. If he was rly interested in fighting strong people, he could have fight them.
He was there to see whitebeard for the last time, most likely, he was also at rogers execution, he wasnt there because he wanted to fight people left and right like a serious business.
