Plus the rinnegan has too many op moves and versatility, Minato’s ninjutsus wouldn’t even work. He needs sage mode. It took fully powered moves from B, chakra-mode Naruto and Itachi to even counter the start-up of Chibaku Tensei, Minato has nothing anywhere close to that level of raw power. Also Nagato has way more chakra reserves than Minato, if this fights lasts longer, Nagato would just end up being favored winning.

When considering Pain's strongest attacks, Minato can...

• Teleport himself to the ocean to suppress the impact of Shinra Tensei (mid-air)
• Move up to Chibaku Tensei to teleport it somewhere else while it's still small
• Use Bunshin and red flame barrier to entrap Cerberus

Not to mention he can mark any of the Chikushodou summons. Can't see Minato losing, too many possible strategies.
