To be fair, Edwards was never the type to deal well with wrestlers who apply heavy pressure against the cage. Covington had his moments against Edwards up against the cage, but Belal was physically so much stronger in that department.

After that loss, Edwards faced Sean Brady, who could apply the same type of pressure in the grappling department, but with the added threat of submissions as well, which led to Edwards getting choked out.

True but Edwards wasn't preparing himself for Brady, he was preparing for Jdm which is a different style. If he had more time to prepare perhaps he would do better, also in my opinion that Belal loss made him more obsessed, Edwards was still talking about Belal during fight week, I think he was shocked after that loss and didn't focus Brady, I think Edwards won't be as good as before from now on.

Edwards made big mistakes like shooting takedown on Brady, he has that weird obsession to prove he has good grappling, his grappling not bad but there are levels, even Belal didn't try to wrestle with Brady because Brady's jiujitsu is very good.

He was on a long unbeaten streak until that fight Belal did a good job vs Edwards, I wasn't expecting Belal to win.

Bro Jon Jones is the longest reigning heavyweight champion ever…. with 1 title defense.

The UFC would never let anyone else with with the belt for years like this
Really? Find that hard to believe
Yeah he's scared of fighting Aspinal, probably has nightmares of people remembering this loss til the day he dies
It's ridiuclous
Still Islam Topuria is easily the best card UFC has to offer, and we'll have to wait because Islam is moving up for a second belt
Topuria vs Charles, not bad by itself, a good warm up for Ilia before he fights the #1 p4p even though I think he's ready to fight him now

Got it wrong… SECOND LONGEST in history after Cain Velasques

But in 2-3 months he’ll be the longest reigning heavyweight champion ever… with 1 defense

Makachev is getting slept by JDM, then he goes back down and gets finished by Topuria, watch. That's if he doesn't retire after JDM, you know them Dagestanis don't like adversity.

The last UFC event with Belal Muhammad was a banger, but I didn’t expect the belt to change hands that quickly. It should’ve been an easy night for the Palestinian. Overall, this event was solid, even if nothing particularly noteworthy stood out.

Shevchenko is still going strong, though she’ll most likely hold on to the belt until she retires.
