Yeah he looks better than during his last fight but he's 37 and hasn't fought in 5 years while Holloway had multiple fights at a high level since then.
Taking a deep breath for this upcoming event. Max definitely won't be having any issues with weight cutting, and he's not going to be grappled around here, so this is definitely a winnable matchup for him. That being said, what kind of training has Conor been doing for the last, what, five years or so?

As far as I know, he returned to focus on fighting like 2 years ago or something.
He really spent some good years bulkings and on PEDs, drugs also. lol
Tbh, I don't think he will be ready to face Max, I think he will be hella slow, he will still have some good attributes, like his powerful lefty, karate stance. But his cardio idk, it was never great, now with him older and training not for so much time... nahh. I don't believe he willl do any well.
Max may be in for a big surprise with this new Conor. Strength gains matter more compared to just bodyweight alone, and Max might start feeling how hard McGregor's punches hit. His presence will also start giving off a different aura from what Max normally would be expecting come fight night.
I'm just hoping Conor goes right for the kill like he did against Cowboy. Based on the power and cardio difference in this fight, round 1 finish feels like the most likely path to victory.
This is like Conor vs Diaz again; the difference is that Max is smaller and a much better striker than Diaz. His chin is past its prime too.
An rd1 KO could happen. If Max wins, we still get a trilogy fight.
edit: Conor has a 5" reach advantage over Max O.0
