It's not power scaling lol. If you were to say X is better as a fighter than Y it's very subjective, but a guy with one title defense would be behind Dricus objectively. I have problems with Pantoja as champ but even he makes more sense in that spot for one thing.

I don't care for the numbers like title wins; that's more suitable when discussing GOAT status. What matters to me is the quality of your opposition, and the quality of your performance against them, as well as how objectively skilled you are as a fighter. This is why I put guys like Topuria and Petr Yan above most current champions p4p.

Funny that before Bryce said that Nazi shit, no one seemed to appreciate Emmet as a win. Topuria went into the title shot with people saying oh, he couldn't even knock out that bald guy across five rounds. Those wins are way tougher than people imagine.

I don't see the reason Topuria wouldn't fight Lopes or Evloev from a skill standpoint, though. He's one of my favorite fighters but I'm glad that for once Dana decided not to reward that based on some entertainment bullshit. Meanwhile everyone else is at work cleaning out their respective division.
