Btw Berserk is a good manga but I didn't see the hype that many people promised me

Top 2 on my list.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (anime)
Next would be Kingdom (but I need to pick it up again).
After that, mangas like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, DB, Code Geass.
I loved Gintama, but have not finished it yet.
Other than these, I occasionaly catch up with MHA (trash), BC, Bungo Stray Dogs, and other on-going weekly shonen jump series like JJK.
Manhwa: Noblesse and ToG.
Read God of High School and dropped it later, I think around Ragnarok (dragged as hell).
And many more, like Juuni Taisen. Black Cat.
But I will never understand why people rate Berserk so high. The art is great, but the story never appealed to me. Instead of Berserk, it should be named to Suffering x Suffering. I realized that the pay off will never be satisfactory, even if Guts gets his revenge and save Casca.
Plus, the fact that the rape scene is considered one of the best panels in Berserk is enough for me to hate it even more.

There's nothing wrong with fetishist but it's like who's side are you on. Oda clearly made reference to Doflamingo and Viola having a sexual relationship. The former being the one thst killed her sister and forced her into servitude. With his depiction of Ginny and Bonney only to have her non biological dad basically be dead along with his treatment of Waipa etc he comes off as a total creep imo. They can't even hide the huge amounts of racism at toei with the constant rewrites, referring to mutiple black characters as monkeys etc. I mean if your a white male why would you care but he's definently not writing the story for people like me.
I cam only imagine what they wanted the writer of bleach to do before he got canceled. That just reminded me of how he depicted the Mexican kingdom in his own story. It's just unchecked bullshit it reminds me when the show directors of game of thrones wanted to do HBO show of America if slavery never ended. Everything is cool until the people you want to depict want a piece of you for your bullshit.
