Speculations Moria is NOT a Kozuki

So in chapter 1158’s cover page, its revealed the West Blue hero who “died fighting Kaido” is named “Kozuki Moria” and many people are taking this literally at face value when it doesn’t make sense…

:risicheck:

It doesn’t sound real but rather a fake story that the isolated Wano folks were led to believe

Remember that on the same year, Ryuma’s grave was stolen, obviously to create a zombie with the Shadow DF…

Here’s what I believe actually happened:

-Moria learns about Ryuma’s legend and wants him as a zombie

-His crew visits Wano to search for his grave in Ringo

-The Ringo villagers notice this and ask who he is and what he’s doing here

-To avoid getting caught, he lies to them and says his name is “Kozuki = 光月” (reverse of Gecko =月光) who came from West Blue (true) and is here to save Wano from Kaido

-Actually fights Kaido and loses, his entire crew killed, but he managed to escape using his shadow double ability

-Leaves Wano with Ryuma’s corpse and sword without anyone knowing

-The dumb Wano people think he heroically died in battle leaving no body behind

:risisure::risiflip:

MORE POINTS:

-Regarding the “raised in Ringo” part, that could also easily be a lie too. Ringo is full of graves, just revive anyone with a shadow, and have them say “Yeah I saw this dude being raised here” to prove it

-Moria being from West Blue is confirmed in SBS and Vivre Cards

-The main Kozuki family itself wasn’t aware of any other members left after Kaido killed Oden

Moria doesn't have to be blood related, he can still be adopted.

I don't think Oda would reveal this and then later on be like "Oh yeah Moria was lying."

Moria being raised in Wano when he was young, would also explain how he could get to Wano again so easily.

One branch of the Kozuki Family could have left Wano to go to the West Blue and either they had Moria or they adopted him, then they traveled back to Wano and raised Moria in the ringo region.

At some point Moria then left Wano, as for his family they were either killed by the Beasts Pirates or they left Wano again.

After Roger's death, Moria then became a pirate and started his own crew, at some point he heard about Kaido's rule over Wano.

Moria then traveled back to Wano where his goal was to defeat Kaido and save the people of Wano, however he and his crew were defeated with his crew also being killed.

Moria of course survived and managed to escape while also stealing Ryuma's body and sword, even though Moria knew how important Ryuma was to the people of Wano, he also knew how strong Ryuma was, and knew that if he was going to challenge Kaido again in the future he needs to turn Ryuma's body into a zombie.

Moria being a Kozuki would also mean that Moria knows how to read the poneglyphs, which would also tie back to the theory of Moria joining Cross Guild.

Imo all of that makes more sense than a simple "Oh Moria was lying."

Also Kaido and his crew killing Moria's crew, and Moria failing on saving the people of Wano from Kaido, and possibly Moria's family being killed, would also explain even more of Moria's hatred for Kaido and why he badly wanted to get revenge against him.

Best thread in a while
they were really about to slander oden off this no neck hasbeen
:steef:
Lenturion is coping.

Moria is a Kozuki and so is Oden.

Which means Moria>>>>>>Oden.
:queenmoji:

Nah he will be Buggy's pneglyph translator.
Cross Guild needs someone to read the poneglyphs, Moria being that person makes sense, and it would make Moria a very important member of Cross Guild.

Also Cross Guild so far is the only Yonko Crew that doesn't have anyone that can read poneglyphs, and if they are going to get close to the One Piece they need someone who can read them.

Yeah, I just doubt there are more than two Oden fans on this forum.
I don't really care about Oden's dumb decisions because lots of other characters make very dumb decisions, I'm an Oden powerscaling fan

In a vaccuum it's like ok Oden is stupid but then if I look at others and see the same thing it would be like Ok I guess I'm not a fan of anybody then

The face of his grandpa is as big as half of Momonosuke's upper body and it looks like as big as Hiyori's upper body lol
Post automatically merged:

That might be the dumbest type of Oden fan to be.
Why? From what we saw he was going to defeat an emperor in two moves

Kaido is the world's strongest creature after Whitebeard got a lot weaker, and Oden was defeating that guy mid diff

Yeah i also dont buy so easily that Moria was from Wano. This things has yet to be cleared,Oda has to explain this better to us readers.
By the way Moria could revive people only when met Hogback, right? So the fact that he took Ryuma's body before he met him is probably a Oda's continuity error? We'll see.
Its still too early to say why Moria name is there on the grave
