Such a brutally tragic, powerful, heartbreaking and momentous fanart...

Just two panels, a before and after adds so many layers, so much nuance to Sengokus character especially if you know about Rocinante and thus his story and relationship to Sengoku too ofc.

This is the kind of stuff I really love about Oda and One Piece. When Oda gets serious and writes pure poetry, tragedy, with passion and heart and creates truly human, relatable, complex, pained and suffering characters. I also enjoy the charisma, wit, humour and badassery of other characters and of Sengoatu I mean Sengoku too ofc.
