Current Events Mugiwara training for 2 years has been helpful they are much better than other Supernovas and their crews

If one is careful except Urouge, only the Mugiwara defeated the Seconds and the minions of emperors or notables of the new world.

Luffy = Doflamingo, Cracker, Katakuri Zoro = King
Sanji = Queen

Without forgetting that the Mugiwaras beat kes Tobi Roppos in Onigashima Luffy is the first supernova to have FS, Advanced HDA, Advanced Kings Haki Zoro is the first to awaken his Haki of Kings and master Enma the Sword of Oden I could talk about Sanji and the others but I think that's enough.

Luffy wasn't equal Cracker he needed Nami to beat him and he lost to Katakuri.

Zoro was equal King since timeskip maybe even stronger because Enma was nerfing him and Shusui was better sword.

Sanji was far away from Queen he wouldn't make it without DNA awakening.

But sure timeskip was helpful to Mugiwaras, even though EVERY Supernova crew managed the New World without much problems. Kid was taking fights with Yonkos before Luffy did and survived(although he lost an arm).

Strawhats needed much more help than every other Supernova's to be where they are. At least they are on top.

According to Brownbeard Kidd and Drake were on the News 24/7 in the Timeskip so I have zero doubt that they at least defeated a few nonaligned Oven level characters

But in general outside of Kidd and Law. Most of the Supernovas are basically their pre Timeskip selves but with Haki while the Strawhats got bigger upgrades.

Of course the rest would be left behind in that case

If i was Oda i would have killed all of Kidd's crew after he was captured by Kaido and make him lose to Big Mom.

This way, the Luffy decision for 2 years training would have a much bigger impact, since Kid would work as an picture of what could have happened if the Strawhats just immediately enter the New World.

But Oda choose the boring route

Couldn't agree more..
The supernova vs the Yonko clash feels like a Davy back fight..No sense of danger at all..
It was good knowing that kid lost an arm to the red hair pirates..but after that... Nothing

With the exception of the monster trio, I don't see the 02 years of training as necessary..
The Yonko crews we got on screen so far were underwhelming...

For perspective, the Straw Hats have only been in the New World for a little over a month, maybe even less, perhaps. Dressrosa alone spanned a single day. They managed to accomplish more in that short timeframe than all of the other Supernovas combined. Those 2 years were worth it.
The S.hs stayed at punk hazard at most for a day. Then took at least a day tops to get to Dressrosa. Then stayed at Dressrosa for 3+ days. Then the Curly hat pirates took a day to get to Zou because of Nami. Meanwhile Barto's gang took a week to get to Zou. To sail to the outskirts of Whole cake island took two days. Finally I recall it took a day travel to reach each island to finally reach WCI. 11 hours to fight Cracker, 1 day of planning to take down Linlin, another 11 hours ro fight Katakuri. Onward to Wano which is vague but a week's travel to get there?

So yeah definitely the strawhats stayed in the New World for longer than a month because the strawhats are residing in Wano for over week now. Then they shall rest and have #PARTY!

And Zoro is about to defeat a God counting so much more than all of these :endthis:At least from a power level perspective but not only necessarily
