So I just found out today that you go up the leaderboard quickly if you win 1v1 matches without getting ringed out once. Probably even more if your damage is also pretty low.
I won a few matches like this with Wonderwoman. And went from 100k+ to 8k in like 4 matches.
Of course you'll get sent to hell of you lose a match. You'll rank even worse if you cant ring out your opponent once.

Btw never play this game when your hungry. You're fingers will ache and be in pain....and you'll move a lot slower.

God I wish this would happen, a not half asses anime/Shonen Jump game at that. I never got to play the Shonen Jump Superstars games or w/e but they seem the perfect format to base an Super Shonen Bros type game on?
Even something like Dragonball FighterZ would be really nice but I'd prefer a platform fighter like Smash Bros and Multiversus ofc.
Speaking of which btw, you guys heard of Rivals of Aether? If you have Steam, you can download TONS of custom characters, "buddies", levels and get quite a few anime characters and such! Its INCREDIBLE! You can even get stuff like tetris blocks, chess pieces, Walter White, Mama Coco, a literal bottle of water, every Smash Bros character at once in a rotation like the Pokemon Trainer in Brawl I believe and so on?
I'm loving these platform fighter trends lately, Smash Bros needed serious competition finally and I'm gonna give Multiversus a proper try now that I have my just somewhat fixed my PC problems and even may be getting another "new" PC soon!
I never expected Multiversus to be this good either! Really surprised at the sheer level of polish, fanservice, the attention to detail and such! From how well designed the co-op system and thus synergy of duet fighters works to characters having unique voice lines for who they face off against and having cheesily but funny responses to them including when they win and such?
Also loving that you have Harley at level 12 there too! Love to see it! Window Woman (LOL WINDOW WTF?! Damnit Ha001! Stop making me talking about windows! Ironically I've been battling Microsoft Windows a lot lately lol.) I mean Wonder Woman at level 9 and Bugs at 12!
Multiversus is such a long time dream come true, I genuinely can't believe its real! I wonder if we'll get some DC specific ones in the same vein, something like Injustice but more like Smash Bros like MV is ofc and thus a lot more light hearted and family friendly? With actual multiverse stuff from all the multiverses in the DC comic history or w/e?
Same question applies to Marvel too and thus Disney somewhat. Given that DC is trying to get in on Multiverse and Cinematic Universe stuff like Marvel is and has been doing for years now in their movies, I can only imagine how awesome Marvel and Disney specific themed Smash Bros type games could be?!
Something like Kingdom Hearts but without the insanely overly complex lore/storylines and thus immense confusion ideally? Just tons of different franchises/series combining and interacting with no unecessary overcomplexity and typical anime characters, soap opera nonsense and all the anime tropes/cliches? I really wish Kingdom Hearts was just about the Disney characters and worlds only but that is a discussion for a completely different thread, not here ofc, I'm getting offtopic as it is lol.
Also I really love the art style and thus presentation of Multiversus btw! Its really easy on the eyes and thus to follow, I dont find it overwhelming like other fighting games and the focus and synergy of 2v2 fights is really clever, fun and such!

The best thing about multiversus is that the Game Director(@Tony_Huynh) is so active on twitter and is so fucking nice, he likes concepts and shit and replies to alot of questions
