Saw this in reddit.

Shiggy will comeback by awakening the Recreation part of his Overhaul quirk copy.

And Deku will get OFA back somehow. Maybe through the recreated Shiggy or maybe Eri shenanigans.

I think Deku likely has All for One

The story needs to reward Deku somehow for not straight up murdering Shigaraki. If Deku really just lost his quirk because he didn't want to kill a mass murderer, then the story would portray Deku as a dumbass and show that Deku's ideals are foolish. Which clearly isn't horikoshi's intent.

Therefore Deku needs to be rewarded for his virtue. My guess is that Shigaraki gifted AFO to Deku and that Deku now has a new quirk that combines the OFA embers with AFO. Call it "All for One and One for All".

This is what the vestiges meant when they said Deku would be the one to complete one for all.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't put it past them to try and shippuden the shit out of this with some "My Hero Lifestyle" or some such, since the "academia" in the title is sort of obsolete now.

I'm not sure if Hori is ready for another serialization too soon though.
Nor do I see him handing over him MC to someone else, so :kayneshrug:

Leave my Disney Academia alone honestly. The ending was already too mid to think about a sequel.
