Hello my old friends from this beloved forum
Feels good to finally interact with you guys. First of all, it is true that I couldn't really drop One Piece or this forum. I kept visiting and following from distance with way less emotion than before. I also said that I would return when ZKK happens but... it will be much more satisfying showing my loyalty and belief in our GrandMaster now than after it happens.
This thread will not be about ZKK only, it will be some thoughts of mine about the forum/community and current state of manga in general.

I saw a post not long ago about Reddit people thrashing our forum and people here basically thrashing back with a few randoms from reddit trying to "friendly fire" us with new accounts. What I have to say is that this forum is by far the most democratic and free I ever met on internet. The community has issues between it members like every community would have but overall this is a really good place to debate, share opinions and express yourself. I personally doesn't have nothing against anyone in this forum, although I like to mock Luffy/Oda fans the most is just for the sake of laughing and criticize the current state of One Piece not really meaning that you are bad people.One Piece Community
The iconic chapter of Luffy coming back from death and turning out to be Sun God Nika, God Devil Fruit and all the bullshit blablabla that leakers said would divide the community... Did it really divided? I don't believe so. One Piece is downfalling since WCI in my perspective and even since timeskip to others perspectives. The community was divided long time ago. I personally didn't saw anyone changing side because of this bullshit. People already accept any poor excuse Oda brought to justify Luffy's power ups and comebacks to fight Kaido again. Even the people I saw criticizing they quickly changed opinions right after. The reallity is nobody is liking what Oda is bringing, that's why many fans were concern about Luffy reviving(and are still denying that he died) but were too much happy to point out that was still Luffy when Kaido asked him. Oda or his editors are clearly listening what the community is saying and making sure to adjust and answer some of the most polemical questions inside the manga.Kaido making sure that it still Luffy and not Nika/JoyBoy possessing Luffy's body is the biggest and latest evidence of that.
One Piece Manga
What hopes does this manga has left? Is Wano even ending this year? Don't even bring the 5 years deadline for One Piece to end, is not like Oda is rushing anything to justify this deadline. Luffy lost already so many time that people doesn't even care if he lost again but Kaido can lose just one time? I don't think so... but I will comeback to that later on.Oda honestly failed with Luffy's character. The key moment was Luffy bypassing 2 Yonkos like they were nothing, badass huh? But if Oda wants to make Luffy looks badass he has to be consistent with it. Is not badass when the MC uses your strongest form(G4 Boundman) to overkill a simple Warship and a Number when the MC still has the drawback of this transformation. Or this MC failed to overcome Ulti and P1 who are fodders compared to Kaido(which was MC target). If Luffy is badass(also Kid and Law) then why those 3 need to team up against a simple warship with no one important on it? Then we had Denjiro flying cut dividing another ship in half. Luffy looked so weak all the way till rooftop and even after that all his hits didn't seemed to affect Kaido at all despite he even dodging one of them. And the same happened after ACoC, first bullshit power up in this arc, and again after G5.
ZKK and Luffy has defeated Kaido?
Although that last clash of Luffy and Kaido was another bullshit. Kaido had already stablished that he has better haki than Luffy even in his G5 form and that only haki matters he was winning that clash since Luffy was feeling pain and having trouble to punch him back but out of nowhere Oda decided that Luffy not only won that clash but also by a huge lead which made Kaido fall to the ground at high speed that he looked like a worm running from a bird. After that Luffy is once again at his limit, exausthed out of G5 form, unable to battle.So that was a clear win for Luffy and the end of Kaido right? Yes and no...
I do believe Luffy will even have narrator telling he won against Kaido this time. But just like Kaido had won Luffy not long ago he will comeback with awakening. Luffy lost 10 times(lost the count) but Kaido can only lose one? I don't believe. But that is not the argument. We have so many plots left to be conclude. We don't even know what really happened to Zoro, we are not sure if Orochi is done for good, we still have Zunesha and WG coming closer to Wano. Nobody saw Kaido being defeated, Toki's prophecy still didn't happened. Kaido didn't acknowledge Samurai's strenght, and no Luffy can't be a Samurai.
Wano is still far from over and so is Zoro. He will comeback to slay the dragon. Kaido's strongest form is still to be seen and notice by everybody. Remember anime is spoiling manga? Yes, that scene you have in mind it will happen and Luffy has no more cards to play. Like I said, Oda and his editors are clearly adjusting the manga depending on community feelings. A lot of people wanted Luffy to beat Kaido and a lot want ZKK to happen so they just found a way for that happen. Unlike Zoro haters that used to say Zoro would beat a weak defeated Kaido he will actually beat the strongest Kaido that Luffy didn't even had the chance to fight.
Kaido worst villain?
After this really small and rushed flashback I would say we have 2 Kaido. The one from the past and the current one. The current one is a threash villain. None of his actions make sense. The one from the past is way better but far from being a good one. Like many said he is generic villain but in my opinion we have to learning much more about him. Oda showed where he came from, something that happened to him but we don't know yet where his knowledge comes from, what happened inside Rocks's crew and God Valley incident. This is the key point to understand Kaido.My ZKK brothers
What I liked the most during my "off" period was that I saw a lot more of Zoro and ZKK fans after I gone and not only that but saw those new fans using my arguments like Enma is a nerf, Hakai is the strongest attack in One Piece etc. Not sure what happened for this change but I felt really happy for GrandMaster reach new people and have new believers.EDIT: Remember when Oda said his fans would be happy if Luffy defeated Kaido with a stronger punch and now Luffy does exactly that? Although Oda was wrong about it do you really think Kaido will be defeated by a stronger punch?
EDIT2: Remember that Kaido said he was gonna lose to JoyBoy? Luffy said he wasn't JoyBoy but Luffy. What about Zoro? Did he died and comeback as JoyBoy? Ryuuma was the JoyBoy?
