General & Others Naruto series should not have been named Naruto

Always thought that calling the series like the mc was dumb. Imagine instead of Hunter x Hunter we got "Gon". Instead of One Piece we have "Luffy" and instead of Dragon Ball we get "Goku". Like fr, show some originality.

Maybe Konoha would have been good. But in the end there is an alliance of many villages so maybe that would have been "bad" too. By the way Naruto sounds very japanese,i think its a perfect name for this story.

Yeah, but we also have "Dexter" & "Hannibal". Show named after M.c can work,the problem is that Naruto isn't an interesting or unique enough character to shoulder that weight, people didn't tune in just for Naruto.

That's a very good point. The character that is named after the show should be able to carry this weight easily. And Naruto fails to do so.

"Naruto and Sasuke complicated love story."

Other than my lame joke Naruto is a decent name for the series at the end of the series it mentions that Kyuubi is sealed inside Naruto and he became a Hokage. Its Narutos story and the name shows us that.
