It's not a system at all... it just happen to be four Great Pirates and so they got called the Four Emperors. It's doesn't have to be four or any number of them and they pretty much have nothing to do with each other aside from being 'Emperors'.

First... it's not a 'system' and it's certainly not up to the government if they exist it not. It's just that there are currently 4( honestly 5 now) Great Pirates in the New World that rule like Emperors.

Not exactly... The WG actually decides who will be called as such... Like you mentioned, its a collective term used to call the 4 ruling pirates of the NW... After 2 of the 4 will fall, their territories would be in turmoil... The only powers the WG will recognize would be the Marines AND SSG... They will no longer officially name people as replacements of Kaido and BM... That's basically how abolishment of Yonko system means...

man, they are rule things, dominate things, their movement will affect and change anything.

Either the Yonko position will get abolished so we only get Great Pirates only but if not then I could see Luffy, Katakuri, Kidd and Law will filled the positions.

The world government actually chooses Yonkos because when Whitebeard died Blackbeard replaced him. I guess whoever is strong and is a big threat to their system becomes a Yonko at this rate.

The World Government doesn't choose... it's not up to them like it is with the Shichibukai. Nor does it have to be four of them. Blackbeard replaced Whitebeard because he took over the territory Whitebeard had. 'Emperor' is not an official position is just something people call the Great Pirates of this era and it's the 'Four Emperors' simply because it's four of them. The World Government can acknowledge certain pirates as Emperors but it's not up to them who becomes one.

I'm fairly confident whomever acquired enough power and influence can be considered a yonko. The New World looks like the Wild West.
