ya it has an anime but its mostly a summary of the game + few alternate storylines and more background on some of the side characters in the game

playing the game first makes appreciating the main plot of the anime much better without spoiling why

idk how it feels as an anime only nier enjoyer. when i watched the anime i felt like its missing and rushing alot, specially season 1 which is megring play through A and B into one

Playing games is a long time investment. I remember having 200+ hours of play time for Final Fantasy X and 10+ hours just to finish the prologue of a VN.

lmao if ur enjoying the 100+ hours u wont feel it

gonna sound like one of those try hard nier fans in reddit but u can finish the main plot in like 40hrs. the thing is the side quests r rly good and all canon and baked very nicely into the story and only handful of them r covered briefly in the anime here and there. alot of the joy i had and 100+ hours i spent on the game came from side quests lol. nier automata had the best side quests ive played in a game b4 imo
