Given that he was revered as the sun god and we saw a spear in a panel of various graded blades(chapter 912), what are the chances that this spear is actually a supreme graded weapon, or that it otherwise is extremely powerful?
The fact that the world government wanted to hide his existence indicates that he was likely extremely significant and hence, also quite powerful.
I personally believe that Nika's spear is based off the lance of longinus and that its name will be a reference to this weapon.
As is known, the lance of longinus, otherwise known as the holy lance, holy spear, or spear of destiny, was a spear that supposedly pierced jesus while he was being crucified. Given that the celestial dragons see themselves as gods, and the secrecy of Nika implies his opposition to the celestial dragons, I think it would be extremely fitting if his weapon was named after or based on a spear that pierced a god.
To conclude this theory, I want to leave off on a speculation. I think its very possible that Luffy could get Nika's spear. From what we have seen so far, at least one application of paramecia devil fruit awakening is the ability to effect one's surroundings. This ability in Luffy's hands(if this is how the gomu gomu no mi awakens), would allow him to give objects the properties of rubber, but not literally make them rubber(as is the case with his body). If this is Luffy's awakening, it only makes sense for him to have a weapon to use it on.
Given how Katakuri, a polearm user, was intended to parallel Luffy, how Luffy is based off sun wukong, and how Luffy used a staff as a child when he trained with ace and sabo, a spear would be an extremely fitting weapon for Luffy. He could use it the same way he did his metal pipe from back during the flashback, or he could innovate and combine the spear with his original fighting style. Ex. he could use awakening to wrap the spear around his body, like a sort of armor.
